In 1989, India's garment industry had skill and ambition — but reliable interlinings were hard to come by. Goodwear started by bridging that gap through imports. It helped, but it also exposed the real problem: low-cost imports couldn't deliver consistency, quality, or speed.
The answer had to be built closer to home. So we made the shift — from trading to manufacturing, in India, for India. Because world-class garments deserve world-class interlinings, made at home.
